I'm always trying out new drink combinations during the hot summer months! Coming home to a jug of this refreshing Watermelon Mojito helps counter the sun's heat. My easy watermelon mojito recipe will have you prepping a jug of this delicious and cooling drink daily!

Watermelon and lemon are THE flavors of the long, hot summer days. They come together deliciously in this drink! You MUST try this drink: it's sweet and tangy, and with the added fizz from the sparkling soda, it is a show-stopper!

Ingredients

Here's the list of ingredients needed to make this cooling Watermelon Mojito:

  • Watermelon deseeded: 1 cup
  • Mint leaves: 7-8
  • Sugar: 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice: 1tbsp
  • Soda: ¼ cup
  • Ice cubes: as needed

Instructions

This recipe really could not be any simpler!

Add the watermelon, mint leaves, sugar, lemon juice, soda, and ice cubes in a blender.

  • Add the ingredients to a blender jug.
  • Start with the cubed watermelon.
  • Then add the mint leaves.
  • Followed by the sugar.
  • Add the soda.
  • Next, add the lemon juice.

Blitz all the ingredients till it forms a smooth drink.

  • Blitz well.
  • Blend till smooth.

And, you're done!

Serve the watermelon mojito cold.

Top tip

  • Always have all ingredients chilled, like the watermelon and lemon juice.

I don't have any soda. What can I use instead?

If you can't find soda, you can use sparkling water instead. You can also use a clear carbonated drink.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Watermelon cubed and deseeded
  • 7-8 Mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar or to taste
  • ¼ cup Soda
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender jug.
  • Blitz until they come together to form a drink.
  • Serve chilled with a sprig of mint for decoration.
