Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Cream Butter and Sugars:

  • In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and light.

Add Eggs and Eggnog:

  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then add eggnog and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.

Combine Wet and Dry:

  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

Shape Cookies:

  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.

Bake:

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
