BBQ CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS (STICKY, SMOKY, AND FALL-OFF-THE-BONE)

These BBQ Chicken Drumsticks are juicy, smoky, and coated in a sticky barbecue glaze. Baked until tender and caramelized, they make the perfect easy dinner, game day snack, or summer cookout favorite.

Ingredients
  

Chicken:

  • 12 chicken drumsticks

Seasoning:

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

BBQ Sauce:

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions
 

Prep Chicken:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  • Pat drumsticks dry and toss with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Bake:

  • Arrange drumsticks on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Make BBQ Glaze:

  • In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, honey, and apple cider vinegar.

Glaze & Finish:

  • Brush drumsticks generously with BBQ glaze and bake another 10 minutes until sticky and caramelized.

Serve:

  • Serve hot with extra barbecue sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra caramelization.
  • Use your favorite BBQ sauce flavor.
  • Chicken is done when internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
