Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

Step No.1: Preheat the Waffle Iron

  • Set your waffle iron to medium heat and lightly grease it with non-stick spray.

Step No.2: Cream the Butter and Sugar

  • In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Step No.3: Add Wet Ingredients

  • Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.

Step No.4: Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Step No.5: Make the Dough

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.

Step No.6: Cook in the Waffle Iron

  • Drop 1 tablespoon of dough onto each section of the preheated waffle iron. Close and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step No.7: Cool & Serve

  • Remove carefully and let cool on a wire rack. Enjoy plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or dipped in chocolate!

Notes

  • Crispier cookies: Let them cook for an extra minute in the waffle iron.
