TIRAMISU PARFAIT

Sana Umer
I love making these elegant Tiramisu Parfaits because they capture all the rich, creamy magic of classic tiramisu in individual servings. With just mascarpone, heavy cream, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and a dusting of cocoa, this no-bake dessert comes together in minutes and tastes even better when made ahead.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee cooled
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1 pack coffee liqueur (about 20-24)
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder (about 20-24)
  • Dark chocolate shavings (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thick.
  • In a separate shallow bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
  • Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they’re soaked but not soggy.
  • Layer the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of your parfait glasses.
  • Spoon a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers. Repeat the process, creating layers of ladyfingers and cream.
  • Finish with a final layer of mascarpone cream and dust with cocoa powder.
  • Garnish with chocolate shavings and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Tiramisu parfaits can be made ahead! Store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 days for the best flavors to meld.
  • Customizing the Flavor: For a variation, try adding flavored syrups like hazelnut or caramel to the coffee, or use different liqueurs like amaretto.
  • Serving Suggestions: Serve chilled in individual glass jars or parfait glasses for an elegant presentation. Garnish with cocoa powder and chocolate shavings.
  • Allergy-Friendly Options: For a dairy-free version, use a dairy-free mascarpone cheese and heavy cream substitute, like coconut cream.
  • Storage Tips: Keep parfaits in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. The layers will soften over time, but the flavor will still be delicious!
