Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make the Dough:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until combined.
Shape and Fill:
Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on baking sheet and gently press the center of each ball with your thumb to make a small well. Fill each indentation with about ½ teaspoon of jam.
Bake:
Bake for 12–14 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
