Ingredients
  

For the Turkey Chili:

  • 1 lb ground turkey lean
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14 oz
  • 1 can kidney beans 15 oz, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans 15 oz, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Cook Turkey:

  • In a large pot over medium heat, cook ground turkey until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

Sauté Aromatics:

  • Add chopped onion and garlic to the pot. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.

Add Tomatoes and Beans:

  • Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and chicken broth.

Season and Simmer:

  • Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Serve:

  • Ladle chili into bowls and serve warm, optionally topped with shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.

Notes
