Ingredients
  

For the Pasta and Beef:

  • 8 oz pasta uncooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning

For the Sauce and Toppings:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes canned or fresh
  • ½ cup chopped onions optional

Instructions
 

Cook Pasta:

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cook Beef:

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.

Season Beef:

  • Add taco seasoning and ¼ cup water to the beef. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.

Mix Pasta and Beef:

  • Combine cooked pasta and seasoned beef in the skillet. Stir in diced tomatoes and half the cheese.

Serve:

  • Transfer to a serving dish, top with remaining cheese, sour cream, and onions if using. Serve warm.
