Ingredients
  

For the Rolls:

  • 1 sheet refrigerated crescent dough or puff pastry
  • ½ cup cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup diced fresh strawberries

For the Topping:

  • ¼ cup crushed golden Oreos or shortbread cookies
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon freeze-dried strawberries crushed (optional for colour)

For the Icing (Optional):

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 –2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Make the Filling:
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in diced strawberries.
  • Assemble the Rolls:
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into rectangles. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over each, then roll up tightly and slice into pinwheels.
  • Bake:
  • Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Make the Topping:
  • Combine crushed cookies, melted butter, and freeze-dried strawberries (if using). Sprinkle over warm rolls.
  • Optional Icing:
  • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over cooled rolls before serving.

Make Ahead: Filling can be prepared up to 1 day in advance. Store assembled rolls in the fridge before baking.
