Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup granulated sugar divided
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries

Instructions
 

Make the Simple Syrup:

  • In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.

Coat the Cranberries:

  • Stir cranberries into the warm syrup until well coated. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a wire rack. Let dry for 1 hour.

Sugar the Cranberries:

  • Once slightly tacky, roll the cranberries in the remaining ½ cup sugar until coated. Let dry completely on the rack.

Serve or Store:

  • Use immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
