Instructions
Make the Simple Syrup:
In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
Coat the Cranberries:
Stir cranberries into the warm syrup until well coated. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a wire rack. Let dry for 1 hour.
Sugar the Cranberries:
Once slightly tacky, roll the cranberries in the remaining ½ cup sugar until coated. Let dry completely on the rack.
Serve or Store:
Use immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
