  • 2 cups snow peas trimmed
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms button or shiitake
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Rinse shrimp, trim snow peas, and slice mushrooms. Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel.
  • Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, water, and cornstarch. Set aside.

  • Stir-Fry the Veggies: Add remaining oil, garlic, mushrooms, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • Combine Everything: Return shrimp to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir well until evenly coated and heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve: Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Prep the sauce and veggies earlier to save time before cooking.
  • Variations: Add bell peppers, broccoli, or baby corn for more crunch and color.
  • Serving Suggestions: Perfect with jasmine rice or noodles for a balanced meal.
  • Storage Tips: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet before serving.
