Juicy, pan-seared steak topped with a rich garlic cream sauce makes this dish irresistible. It’s quick to prepare, full of flavour, and perfect for a restaurant-style meal at home.
Season steaks generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness. Transfer to a plate and rest.
Make the Garlic Cream Sauce:
In the same pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Cook until sauce thickens, about 2–3 minutes.
Serve:
Spoon the garlic cream sauce over the rested steaks. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
Notes
Make it fancy: Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for extra depth.Serving tip: Great with roasted asparagus or garlic butter noodles.
