Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Season Chicken – Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Step 2: Sear Chicken – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 3: Cook Rice – In the same skillet, add rice, chicken broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
  • Step 4: Simmer – Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and let it simmer for 25-30 minutes until rice is tender and chicken is cooked through.
  • Step 5: Add Cheese & Serve – Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, cover until melted, then garnish with parsley and serve warm.
