Ingredients
  

  • 6 medium apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

Prepare the Apples:

  • Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin wedges.

Combine Ingredients:

  • In a bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and salt. Stir until combined.

Add to Slow Cooker:

  • Place the apple slices in the slow cooker and pour the butter mixture over them. Stir to coat the apples evenly.

Cook the Apples:

  • Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the apples are tender and caramelized. Stir occasionally.

Serve:

  • Serve the warm apples as a side dish or dessert.
