Ingredients
  

  • 2 15 oz cans pork and beans (or baked beans), undrained
  • ½ cup root beer not diet
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 4 slices bacon chopped and cooked (optional but recommended)

Instructions
 

Step 1 – Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2 – Mix Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, combine pork and beans, root beer, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, molasses, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir in chopped onion and cooked bacon if using.

Step 3 – Bake:

  • Pour the mixture into a greased 2-quart baking dish. Bake uncovered for 1 hour, stirring once halfway through.

Step 4 – Serve:

  • Let cool slightly before serving. Perfect with grilled meats or burgers.
