Ingredients
  

For the Roasted Squash:

  • 1 butternut squash peeled, seeded, and cubed (about 2–3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional for sweetness

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season Squash:

  • Toss cubed squash with olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon if using.

Arrange on Sheet:

  • Spread squash evenly on a baking sheet.

Roast:

  • Roast 25 minutes, turning halfway, until tender and lightly browned.

Serve:

  • Serve warm as a side dish or add to salads and grain bowls.
