Ingredients

  • 2 cups crumbled red velvet cake homemade or store-bought
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • Red or pink sprinkles optional, for decoration

Instructions

Make the Truffle Mixture:

  • In a bowl, mix red velvet cake crumbs with cream cheese and vanilla extract until a dough-like mixture forms.

Shape:

  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.

Coat:

  • Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth. Dip each truffle into melted chocolate, coating evenly.

Decorate:

  • Place coated truffles back on the tray and top with sprinkles before the chocolate sets. Chill again until firm.

Notes

  • Tip: Use gloves to roll the truffles for a neater finish.
  • Variation: Try dark chocolate coating for a richer flavour.
  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
