Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust 9-inch, pre-baked
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg optional

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Crust:

  • Place the pre-baked pie crust on a baking sheet.

Add Bacon and Cheese:

  • Sprinkle cooked bacon and Swiss cheese evenly over the crust.

Make Custard:

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Assemble Quiche:

  • Pour custard over bacon and cheese in the pie crust.

Bake:

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until the custard is set and the top is golden brown. Let cool slightly before slicing.
