Ingredients
  

For the Scones:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg for egg wash

Instructions
 

Prepare Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add Butter and Peanut Butter:

  • Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in peanut butter and chocolate chips.

Form Dough:

  • Gradually add milk, stirring until dough just comes together. Do not overmix.

Shape Scones:

  • Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, shape into a circle about 1-inch thick. Cut into 8 wedges and place on prepared baking sheet.

Bake Scones:

  • Brush tops with beaten egg. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
