Ingredients
  

Cake Base:

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

Poke Filling:

  • 1 box blue raspberry gelatin
  • 1 box strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water divided

Topping:

  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries

Instructions
 

Bake Cake:

  • Prepare cake batter according to box instructions and bake in a 9x13-inch pan. Let cool slightly.

Poke Holes:

  • Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes evenly across the warm cake.

Prepare Gelatin:

  • Dissolve strawberry and blue raspberry gelatin in separate bowls with boiling water.

Fill Cake:

  • Carefully pour gelatin into the holes, alternating colors for a patriotic effect.

Chill:

  • Refrigerate cake for at least 2 hours until fully set.

Add Topping:

  • Spread whipped topping evenly over the chilled cake.

Decorate & Serve:

  • Top with strawberries and blueberries in a red, white, and blue pattern. Slice and serve chilled.
