Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh flat-leaf parsley tightly packed
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • cup toasted nuts pine nuts, walnuts, or almonds
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Blend Ingredients:

  • Add parsley, Parmesan, toasted nuts, and garlic to a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.

Add Oil and Lemon:

  • With the processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil and lemon juice until smooth.

Season and Store:

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for up to 5 days.

  • Nut-Free Option: Omit nuts or replace with sunflower seeds for allergy-friendly pesto.
