ONE-POT HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN AND NOODLES

This one-pot honey garlic chicken and noodles is sweet, savoury, and comforting. Juicy chicken and tender noodles cook together in a flavourful honey-garlic sauce, making it an easy, delicious, and mess-free weeknight meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening

Instructions
 

Cook Chicken:

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make Sauce:

  • In the same pot, add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.

Cook Noodles:

  • Add egg noodles to the pot and cook until tender, about 8–10 minutes. Return chicken to the pot.

Add Spinach:

  • Stir in fresh spinach until wilted. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to thicken the sauce.

Serve:

  • Serve hot, garnished with extra pepper or sesame seeds if desired.
