Ingredients

  • 12 ounces kielbasa sausage sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley optional

Instructions

  • Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet or pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced kielbasa and cook until browned, about 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Add Garlic and Liquids: In the same pot, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Add Pasta: Stir in uncooked pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  • Add Cheese and Sausage: Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan, and cooked kielbasa. Mix until cheese melts and sauce becomes creamy.
  • Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Slice kielbasa and measure ingredients beforehand for a quick weeknight dinner.
  • Custom Flavours: Add spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or red pepper flakes for extra flavour.
  • Serving Suggestions: Enjoy with garlic bread or a crisp green salad.
  • Storage Tips: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stove with a splash of cream.
