  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls or other soft dinner rolls
  • 6 eggs scrambled and cooked
  • 6 slices of deli ham
  • 6 slices of turkey optional
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard optional
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Raspberry or strawberry jam for serving

Instructions

Preheat and Prep:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Assemble the Sliders:

  • Slice rolls in half horizontally (keep the bottoms connected). Place the bottom half in the dish. Layer with eggs, ham, turkey (if using), and cheese.

Top and Brush:

  • Place the roll tops back on. Brush with melted butter and a bit of Dijon mustard if desired.

Bake:

  • Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until golden and melty.

Serve:

  • Dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm with jam for dipping.

Notes

  • Use thick deli meat for extra flavour and texture.
  • Great for make-ahead: assemble the night before and bake in the morning.
  • For extra sweetness, whisk 1 egg and 2 tablespoon milk, brush on top, and sprinkle lightly with sugar before baking.
