Mini Hot Dogs, also known as Pigs in a Blanket, are bite-sized treats. Wrapped in flaky dough and baked golden, they’re perfect for parties or game day snacks.

Ingredients
  

For the Mini Hot Dogs:

  • 12 mini hot dogs or cocktail sausages
  • 1 package crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash
  • to taste optional sesame seeds or poppy seeds

Instructions
 

Prepare Dough:

  • Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Unroll crescent dough and cut into small triangles or strips for wrapping.

Wrap Hot Dogs:

  • Wrap each mini hot dog with a piece of dough. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Add Toppings:

  • Brush each wrapped hot dog with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.

Bake and Serve:

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until dough is golden brown. Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or dipping sauces.
