Ingredients
  

For the Coleslaw Base:

  • 6 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cups red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cups carrots, shredded
  • ½ cup green onions, sliced

For the Firecracker Dressing:

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1–2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 small jalapeño, finely sliced
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds

Instructions
 

Prep Vegetables

  • Shred cabbage, carrots, and slice green onions. Add everything to a large bowl.

Make Dressing

  • Whisk mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Combine

  • Pour dressing over vegetables and toss until evenly coated.

Chill

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving for best flavor.

Serve

  • Serve cold as a BBQ side dish for burgers, grilled chicken, or ribs.
