Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or lemon slices

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven (or Pan):

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking. Alternatively, heat a large skillet over medium heat.

Season the Chicken:

  • Pat chicken breasts dry. Rub with olive oil, then season evenly with lemon pepper, garlic powder, salt, and lemon zest.

Cook the Chicken:

  • For Baking: Place in a baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • For Skillet: Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

Add Lemon Juice:

  • Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the cooked chicken before serving.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Top with chopped parsley or lemon slices if desired. Serve hot.
