Ingredients
  

For the Steak:

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks about 8 oz each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup beef broth
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Steak: Pat steaks dry, season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steaks 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove and rest.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream, broth, salt, pepper, and thyme. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  • Finish the Sauce: Stir in Parmesan until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
  • Serve: Spoon creamy garlic sauce over steaks and sprinkle with parsley. Serve hot.
