Ingredients
  

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings split into flats and drumettes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat

Instructions
 

Prepare Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease.

Season Wings:

  • Toss chicken wings with salt, pepper, and vegetable oil. Arrange wings on the baking sheet in a single layer.

Bake Wings:

  • Bake wings for 25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.

Prepare Sauce:

  • While wings bake, combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, butter, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Heat gently until combined.

Coat and Serve:

  • Once wings are done, toss them in the honey garlic sauce until evenly coated. Serve immediately.
