Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen corn kernels or fresh corn
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Corn:

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the corn kernels (no need to thaw if using frozen) and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5–7 minutes until heated through and slightly golden.

Make the Honey Butter:

  • Add the honey, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using) to the skillet with the corn. Stir well to coat the corn in the honey butter mixture. Cook for another 2–3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Serve:

  • Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: This recipe can be made in advance and reheated in a skillet with a little extra butter.
  • Customization: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder for a spicy kick.
  • Serving Tip: This dish pairs well with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
