2 cups pecan halves toasted 1 11 oz bag soft caramels, unwrapped 2 tablespoons heavy cream 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil optional, for smoother chocolate

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange pecans in clusters of 4–5 on the sheet to form the “legs” of the turtles.
Melt caramels with cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
Spoon caramel over the center of each pecan cluster. Let sit 10 minutes.
Melt chocolate with optional oil in the microwave or on stovetop.
Spoon chocolate over the caramel layer.
Chill for 30 minutes until firm. Store in airtight container.
