  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg beaten (for brushing crust)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet and line with parchment paper.

Make the Filling:

  • In a bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, orange zest, juice, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Mix well.

Assemble the Pie:

  • Pour filling into pie crust. Cover with a second crust or a lattice top. Crimp edges to seal and brush with beaten egg.

Bake:

  • Bake for 50–55 minutes or until crust is golden and filling bubbles. Let cool before serving.
