Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

  • Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix cheddar, mozzarella, flour, garlic powder, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Shape the Bites: Take small portions of the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls or small discs.
  • Coat: Dip each cheese ball into the beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  • Heat Oil: In a deep skillet or saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat (about 350°F / 175°C).
  • Fry: Fry the cheese bites in batches for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve: Serve hot with marinara, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
