These French Toast Churro Bites are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in cinnamon sugar. Perfect for breakfast or dessert, they taste just like mini churros with a sweet French toast twist!

Ingredients
  

For the Bites:

  • 8 slices thick bread cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter for frying

For the Coating:

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

For Serving (Optional):

  • Maple syrup or chocolate sauce for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Make the Batter: In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and salt until smooth.
  • Dip the Bread: Add bread cubes and gently toss to coat evenly.
  • Cook: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the coated bread pieces until golden brown on all sides, about 5–6 minutes.
  • Coat with Sugar: Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. Roll warm bites in the mixture until fully coated.
  • Serve: Serve immediately with maple syrup or chocolate sauce for dipping.
