French Dip Biscuits are flaky biscuits stuffed with roast beef and melty cheese, served with a warm au jus dipping sauce. They’re perfect for a hearty snack, lunch, or a party appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 16 oz refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 slices deli roast beef
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups water for au jus

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Biscuits:

  • Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch round. Place a slice of roast beef and cheese in the center. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch to seal.

Bake:

  • Place sealed biscuits seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley. Bake 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.

Prepare Au Jus:

  • While biscuits bake, combine au jus mix with water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer until slightly thickened.

Serve:

  • Serve warm biscuits with small bowls of au jus for dipping.

Notes

Make Ahead: Assemble biscuits a few hours ahead and refrigerate before baking.
Customisations: Try Swiss or mozzarella cheese, or add sautéed onions.
