Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices of bread cubed
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Cook Sausage:

  • In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.

Assemble Base:

  • In the baking dish, spread cubed bread evenly. Sprinkle cooked sausage and shredded cheese over the top.

Mix Eggs:

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Pour & Bake:

  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Cool & Serve:

  • Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Make Ahead:
Assemble the night before, cover, and refrigerate. Bake in the morning as directed.
