Ingredients
  

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets thawed
  • 2 large apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • 4 oz 115g cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix diced apples, cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until combined.
  • Assemble Strudel: Roll out puff pastry sheet on a floured surface. Place filling in a line down the center. Fold edges over and seal.
  • Add Egg Wash: Brush top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Bake: Bake 25 minutes or until puff pastry is golden brown and crisp. Let cool slightly.
