CROCKPOT TACO PASTA (EASY SLOW COOKER DINNER THE WHOLE FAMILY LOVES)

This Crockpot Taco Pasta is a creamy, cheesy, and flavorful slow cooker meal made with ground beef, taco seasoning, pasta, and melty cheese. A comforting family dinner that’s easy to prepare and packed with Tex-Mex flavor.

Ingredients
  

Meat Base:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced

Seasoning & Sauce:

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth

Pasta & Cheese:

  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese cubed

Optional Toppings:

  • green onions
  • sour cream
  • jalapeños

Instructions
 

Cook Meat:

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add to Crockpot:

  • Transfer beef mixture to slow cooker. Add taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Stir well.

Slow Cook:

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.

Add Pasta:

  • Stir in uncooked pasta and cook on HIGH for 20–30 minutes until pasta is tender.

Finish:

  • Stir in cream cheese and shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.

Serve:

  • Top with green onions, sour cream, or jalapeños if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use rotini or penne for best texture.
  • Add corn or beans for extra flavor.
  • Stir pasta occasionally to prevent sticking.
