Crockpot ranch chicken and potatoes is a hearty, flavorful one-pot meal. Tender chicken, seasoned potatoes, and creamy ranch come together effortlessly, making it perfect for busy weeknights or comforting family dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb 450g baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 packet 1 oz ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese optional, for topping
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Ingredients: Place potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Place on top of the potatoes.
  • Add Ranch & Broth: Sprinkle ranch seasoning over chicken and potatoes. Pour chicken broth around the sides.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fully cooked (165°F / 74°C) and potatoes are tender.
  • Optional Cheese: In the last 10 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and allow it to melt.
  • Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

  • Make Ahead: Assemble ingredients in the crockpot insert the night before; refrigerate and cook in the morning.
