This Crockpot Chicken and Gravy is an easy, comforting meal with tender chicken slow-cooked in a rich, creamy gravy. Perfect for busy days, it pairs well with mashed potatoes or rice for a hearty dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Instructions
 

Prepare Chicken:

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.

Mix Sauce:

  • In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion soup mix, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour over chicken.

Cook:

  • Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours until chicken is tender.

Thicken Gravy:

  • Remove chicken and set aside. Mix cornstarch and cold water to create a slurry. Stir into crockpot and cook on high for 15 minutes until gravy thickens.

Serve:

  • Slice chicken and pour gravy over the top. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Assemble ingredients in crockpot the night before and refrigerate. Cook the next day.
  • Variations: Add sliced mushrooms or chopped onions for extra flavor.
