Crockpot Cheeseburgers are juicy, tender, and flavorful. Made entirely in a slow cooker, these burgers melt with cheese and simmer in a delicious sauce, perfect for busy nights or easy meal prep.

Ingredients
  

For the Burgers:

  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup pickle juice optional

For Topping:

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • burger buns for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare Burgers:

  • Mix ground beef, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into 4 patties.

Prepare Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and pickle juice.

Cook Burgers:

  • Place patties in the crockpot and pour sauce over them. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.

Add Cheese:

  • Top each burger with a slice of cheddar cheese about 10 minutes before serving to melt.

Serve:

  • Place burgers on buns and spoon extra sauce from crockpot over the top. Serve immediately.
