Ingredients

  • 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • ½ cup water or chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional for searing

Instructions

(Optional) Sear the Pork Chops:

  • Heat olive oil in a pan and quickly brown the pork chops on both sides (2–3 minutes). This adds flavour but is optional.

Mix the Sauce:

  • In a bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, onion soup mix, garlic powder, black pepper, and water or broth.

Layer in Crock Pot:

  • Place pork chops in the crock pot. Pour the soup mixture over them, ensuring they’re well covered.

Cook:

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until pork chops are tender.

Serve:

  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles. Spoon extra gravy over the top.

Notes

  • Add sliced onions or mushrooms for extra flavour.
  • For thicker gravy, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water and stir in during the last 30 minutes.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
