Creamy Asiago Chicken is a rich, cheesy, and flavourful dinner dish made with juicy chicken breasts smothered in a garlic Asiago cream sauce. It's perfect for a comforting weeknight meal or an elegant dinner with guests.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in cream and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan. Stir in Asiago cheese, red pepper flakes (if using), and Italian seasoning. Simmer until thickened, about 5–7 minutes.
Combine:
Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through.
Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
