Ingredients
  

For the Trifle:

  • 1 box angel food cake cut into cubes
  • 1 package instant orange pudding mix 3.4 oz
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • ½ cup mandarin oranges drained and chopped

Instructions
 

Prepare Pudding:

  • Prepare pudding according to package instructions using 2 cups milk. Let it set.

Layer Cake:

  • In a large trifle bowl, layer half of the cake cubes at the bottom.

Layer Pudding:

  • Spread half of the prepared orange pudding over the cake cubes.

Add Cream and Fruit:

  • Add half of the whipped cream, then half of the mandarin oranges, and sprinkle with orange zest.

Repeat Layers:

  • Repeat layers with remaining cake, pudding, whipped cream, and mandarins. Top with extra whipped cream and zest if desired.

Chill and Serve:

  • Chill trifle in refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours before serving.
