Ingredients
  

  • 2 15 oz cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

Instructions
 

Combine Ingredients:

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine corn, cream, salt, sugar, and pepper. Stir and heat for 5–7 minutes.

Make Flour Slurry:

  • In a small bowl, whisk flour into the milk until smooth.

Thicken the Corn:

  • Slowly add the flour mixture to the corn while stirring constantly. Cook until thickened, about 5–8 minutes.

Add Butter:

  • Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted and fully combined.

Serve Hot:

  • Serve warm as a side dish for chicken, turkey, or ham.
