Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon cotton candy extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup pink and blue cotton candy, torn into small pieces
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Pink and blue food coloring (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and cotton candy extract. Mix well.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
  • Add Cotton Candy & Color: Gently fold in small cotton candy pieces. For a vibrant look, divide dough and tint each half pink or blue.
  • Shape Cookies: Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet. Slightly flatten.
  • Bake: Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  • Cool & Serve: Let cool on a rack before enjoying the sweet cotton candy flavor!
