In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the egg and milk together. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in corn, green onions, and cheese.
Heat Oil:
Heat about ¼ inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Fry Fritters:
Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil, flatten slightly with the back of the spoon. Fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
Drain:
Remove fritters and drain on paper towels.
