Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450g sausage meat or sausage casings removed
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 egg beaten (for glazing)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Filling:

  • In a bowl, mix sausage meat, onion, sage, thyme, nutmeg, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Assemble Rolls:

  • Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface. Spread sausage mixture evenly along one side. Roll the pastry tightly over the filling and seal edges. Cut into 2-inch pieces.

Glaze and Bake:

  • Place rolls on a lined baking tray. Brush with beaten egg. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve:

  • Serve warm as a festive snack or party appetizer.
