This Christmas Crack is a sweet, salty, and crunchy holiday treat made with crackers, toffee, and chocolate. It’s incredibly easy and totally irresistible—perfect for gifting, parties, or late-night snacking!

Ingredients
  

  • 40 saltine crackers 1 sleeve
  • 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup crushed candy canes holiday sprinkles, or chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • To 350°F (175°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray.

Layer Crackers:

  • Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer to cover the baking sheet.

Make Toffee:

  • In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour and Bake:

  • Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the crackers. Spread gently, then bake for 5 minutes.

Add Chocolate:

  • Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Let sit 2–3 minutes to melt, then spread evenly.

Top and Chill:

  • Add toppings if desired. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until fully set.

Break and Serve:

  • Peel off foil and break into pieces.

Notes

Make Ahead:
Perfect to make 2–3 days in advance and store in an airtight container.
