Chocolate salami is a no-bake festive dessert made with crushed biscuits, cocoa, and nuts, shaped like a salami log. Sliceable, rich, and perfect for gifting or serving at holiday gatherings with coffee or hot chocolate.

Ingredients
  

  • 7 oz 200g tea biscuits or digestive cookies, crushed
  • ½ cup chopped nuts hazelnuts, almonds, or walnuts
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup dark chocolate melted
  • cup unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

Crush and Combine Dry Ingredients:

  • Place biscuits in a zip-top bag and crush into small chunks. In a large bowl, mix crushed biscuits, chopped nuts, and cocoa powder.

Make the Chocolate Mixture:

  • In a separate bowl, stir together melted chocolate, melted butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Mix Everything Together:

  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined and sticky.

Shape into a Log:

  • Spoon the mixture onto parchment paper. Shape into a log about 8–10 inches long. Wrap tightly and twist the ends.

Chill to Set:

  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until firm.

Slice and Serve:

  • Unwrap, dust with powdered sugar, and slice into rounds. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Chocolate salami can be made several days ahead and stored in the fridge. It also freezes well for up to 1 month.
